CM Shivraj Singh Chauhan said that 5 crore 29 lakh doses will be required for vaccination. He said that two companies have been placed with orders for Kovishield and Kovaxin. The CM said that the program would continue depending on the availability of the vaccine. Shivraj said that all people will be given corona vaccine for free. He said that a whole district-wise session will be organized for journalists. A separate vaccine will be arranged for them.

CM said that according to one and a half lakh doses, we have started the vaccination session. On May 5 and 6, more than 10 thousand people will be vaccinated. With the availability of the vaccine, we will be expanding the session. As soon as we get the vaccine from the companies, accordingly we will increase the session in the state. Shivraj said that if these two companies do not provide vaccine on time then we can take vaccine from third company also.
