Administration seized 3 shops
The relatives of six people who lost their lives after consuming spurious liquor were cremated without informing the police. On getting information about this, ADG Zone, DIG, DM, SSP and Excise officers reached the spot. It is being told that the poisonous liquor was purchased from the country liquor contracts of Karsua and Andla. Along with the closure of all country liquor shops, five liquor shops have been sealed. At the same time, liquor found from the possession of the victims has been sent for investigation. The police teams caught hold of three people including a liquor mafia and took them into custody for questioning. So far 6 people have been arrested in this connection.
Poisonous liquor is continuously killing people in the state, but those responsible are unable to rein in this business. In case of any incident, the officials abdicate their responsibility by suspending, but after a few days the game of illegal liquor starts again. It is necessary that by breaking the nexus of liquor mafia in the entire state, strict action should be taken against the culprits, so that this bloody business can be stopped.
