His mother succumbed to not getting a ventilator. The distraught son could not even offer fire to his mother. According to the information received, Gaurav’s mother Pushpa Chauhan, who worked in a Bhiwadi company, was ill on 20 April. Mother lived in Haryana, son Gaurav works in a company of Bhiwadi. So he brought his mother to Bhiwadi. Got Pushpa Chauhan admitted to a private hospital in Bhiwadi. When the situation started getting worse, then the hospital asked to be shifted to another hospital.
Looking for ventilator in private hospital
At this Gaurav talked to a friend of his in Alwar. Said to seek ventilator in private hospital. Upset over not getting ventilator, Gaurav admitted mother on oxygen bed at a private hospital in NEB, Alwar. But within 48 hours Pushpa Chauhan died due to lack of ventilator. After the mother’s death, Gaurav Chauhan went to the cremation ground at the crematorium in NEB, Alwar. But Gaurav alone was unable to do anything. Then he was supported by his friend and the Jamadar of the crematorium. The Jamadar called the laborers and then proclaimed himself to Gaurav’s mother.
Failure to provide PPE kit
Gaurav’s friend told that the ward in which the aunt was kept. There were about eight patients admitted, but no PPE kit or any other arrangement was made for the attendant. Therefore, he could not even offer fire to his mother. There is no such condition of pride in Alwar alone. Such cases are coming up every day. But the administration is only engaged in preparing the matter. According to protocol, the last rites of the people are not being done. After the completion of the funeral process, the administration gets information about the patient being positive.
