A heartbreaking video of Uttar Pradesh’s Balrampur is going viral. In this video, two people are seen throwing the corpse of a corona patient into the river. In the video, two people throwing the dead body into the river, one is wearing a PPE kit while the other is wearing black clothes.
The case is of a bridge near Sisai Ghat in Balrampur. Here on May 29, some people were passing through the bridge. He was passing through the road making a video of rain. At the same time, he caught sight of a man wearing a PPE kit above the bridge.
Administration conducted investigation
The youth stopped their car and started making videos of it. The video shows two men pick up a corpse and throw it into the river. A man is wearing a PPE kit. The case was investigated after the video went viral.
The patient died on May 28
CMO Dr VB Singh said that after investigation, it was found that the body whose body was dumped in the Rapti River was of a patient named Premnath Mishra. He was admitted to the district hospital on 25 May. He was Corona positive. During treatment, Premnath died on 28 May.
Dr. VB Singh said that the body of Premnath was taken to the funeral site under the Kovid protocol. The body was handed over to his family there and the team returned. Later, instead of cremating him, relatives of Premnath threw the dead body into the river. A case has been filed against the accused in the case.
The case got caught in this way
In the video, a man was wearing a PPE kit, so he could not be identified. The other young man did not even put a mask on his face. He was identified as a young man working in the ghat. Investigating through that, the team reached the family of Premnath.
