Injured on 10 March
Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee, who went to her constituency, suffered a leg injury on March 10, after which the political mercury of West Bengal suddenly increased. On the one hand, Mamata Banerjee accused the BJP of sending her goons to crush their feet and on the other hand, BJP termed it as Mamata political drama. The party said that Mamta has come to know that the people of Bengal are mistreating her, so she has started trying to garner sympathy. However, Mamta said that in Nandigram she was pushed by four-five people and she fell, her leg was swollen, then she was feeling chest pain with fever. Mamta Banerjee was admitted to the hospital as soon as she was hurt.
This way Mamta’s image became stronger
However, many people claimed to be eyewitnesses of the incident. One of them Chittaranjan Das had said, ‘I was present on the spot, the Chief Minister was sitting in his car but the car door was open. The car door closed after hitting a poster, no one touched nor pushed the door. Yes, there was no one near the door. ‘ However, after leaving the hospital, Mamata Banerjee started campaigning from the wheel chair. Naturally, this strengthened his image of a struggling leader.
Then know what 75% of the people said
We asked a poll after Mamta Banerjee was hurt. We had asked our readers whether the alleged attack on Mamta Banerjee in Bengal would harm the BJP in the election? Then only 21% felt that this injury could give Mamata Banerjee an edge over the BJP. 75% of the people had clearly stated that this incident will not harm the BJP, while 4% could not decide who will benefit or who will be hurt by Mamata’s injury or whether it will make any difference. .
TMC throws BJP out at every stage
But aside from the opinion of the readers, the result of the election on May 2 surprised everyone. In which area BJP’s hold is strengthening, where TMC’s clan is being shattered, such analysis was being told that in which phase BJP will move ahead and reach so much that it will reach power. However, the above figures show how the BJP lagged behind the TMC in every phase.
Then how did Mamta lose herself?
Keep in mind that even though TMC won 211 seats in West Bengal, Mamata Banerjee had to face defeat from Nandigram. He was defeated for two decades by a trustworthy Shubhendu Adhikari, who left the TMC and joined the BJP just before the election. So is it not a question that after seeing Didi’s injury, the people won their candidates in the entire state, then why did Mamata defeat herself?
