RJD leader Tejashwi Yadav announced an amount of Rs 1 crore from MLA Fund for better treatment of corona patients in Raghopur Assembly of Vaishali district. In a letter to the District Planning Officer of Vaishali, Tejashwi said that the funds should be used to provide oxygen cylinders and other facilities to the corona-infected patients in Raghopur and Bidupur blocks.

The letter also includes a list of facilities offered at the Referral Hospital in Mohanpur and Primary Health Center in Bidupur. It describes what items will be purchased from the fund. It consists of 10 oxygen concentrator machines and 100 oxygen cylinders. In addition, both hospitals will be provided with 50 oxygen gas trolleys, 200 oxygen masks, 50 bed mats and 100 sheets. A senior officer posted at Hajipur Collectorate said that the letter of the RJD MLA has already reached the district headquarters.

The official said that the process is likely to begin in a day or two. Since the corona infection is also spreading in rural areas, the availability of oxygen in the referral hospital and health facilities in the primary health center will benefit the patients, they will meet their needs.

RJD MLC provides 50 beds for Kovid patients
MLC Farooq Sheikh of RJD has also donated 50 beds to Sitamarhi District Administration for the treatment of Kovid patients. Farooq’s private secretary Saroj Kumar Rai said that these beds have been handed over to district officials in the presence of Mahendra Kumar Das, the nodal officer of Kovid.
