In Bihar’s Begusarai district, the Divyang was punished with a painful death for drinking just a glass of water from a villager. Angered by drinking water without asking, the villagers brutally thrashed the Divyang to death. He died during treatment. The police officer gave this information on Saturday. The incident happened on Friday, when Chhote Lal Sahni had gone to a pond located near the village for fishing. While returning home he was very thirsty, so he took a glass of water from a water vessel which belonged to Dinesh Sahni. Chauhari police station in-charge Raghavendra Kumar said, when Chhote was drinking red water, Dinesh Sahni and his son Deepak Sahni saw him. On this, they beat him mercilessly with sticks and sticks. The victim was somehow brought home with the help of other villagers.
Villagers sent donations to PMCH: Police
Police station in-charge Kumar said, “As his condition deteriorated, his wife Mithilesh Devi took him to Sadar Hospital Begusarai on Friday for treatment. The doctors of the hospital referred him to PMCH as his condition was critical. The victim and her family are extremely critical. He is poor. So the villagers donated and sent him to PMCH, where he died during treatment.

Main accused Dinesh Sahni arrested, looking for others: Raghavendra Kumar
Police station in-charge Raghavendra Kumar said, “After the body of Chhote Lal Sahni reached the village, villagers also contributed to his cremation.” “We have arrested the main accused Dinesh Sahni. The other accused is absconding. A search is on for them,” the officer said.
