Buses going from Patna to across the state will have a new base from July 15. The district administration has completed its preparations. Anand Kishor, Principal Secretary, Urban Development and Housing Department, through video conferencing has directed the officials to completely shut down Mithapur Bus Stand from July
Bus stand will be completely shifted from July 15
The Principal Secretary said that at present, buses are being operated for only a few districts from the Inter-State Bus Terminal Patna. For this reason, all the concerned officers should work towards making it fully operational, so that the buses of all the districts can be operated from here.
Know about the given instructions
The Principal Secretary said that Mithapur Bus Stand should be completely shifted to Patliputra Bus Terminal, Bairia by July 15. All the buses leaving from Mithapur Bus Stand from July 15 should be run from Patliputra Bus Terminal itself. He directed the Executive Engineer of the Road Construction Department to complete the work of widening the approach road from Zero Mile to Patliputra Bus Terminal before July 15. Also, construct the culvert near the bus terminal by June 20.
Keeping in view the rainy season, the Principal Secretary asked the Managing Director of BUDCO to ensure the facility of trolley mounted pumps to keep the work running continuously so that the work does not stop in the rain.
Instructions for buses of 4 districts including Nalanda from June 15
While directing the officials, the Principal Secretary said that from June 15, all necessary action should be completed to operate the passenger buses of Nalanda, Nawada, Sheikhpura and Jamui from Patliputra Bus Terminal. Similarly, gradually from July 15, make a plan to operate the buses of all the districts. The Principal Secretary directed the officials to start toilets, urinals and drinking water facilities on the ground floor like the first floor of Patliputra Bus Terminal, so that the common passengers do not face any kind of trouble.
Patna DM said- preparation is complete
In the meeting, Patna DM Chandrashekhar Singh said that the district administration is fully prepared to operate all the buses from Patliputra Bus Terminal. Regarding this, he himself has inspected the present bus stand of Patliputra Bus Terminal and Mithapur and from July 15, all the buses will be stopped from Mithapur Bus Stand and all these buses will now open from Patliputra Bus Terminal only. For this, preparations have been made by the district administration and all kinds of action are being taken.
