What did the prime minister say
On the decision to cancel the CBSE Class 12 exams, Prime Minister Narendra Modi (PM Modi) said that ‘Health and safety of students is the first priority, from which no compromise can be reached. The stress situation that has arisen in students, parents and teachers about the exam should be eradicated. All the partners should show sensitivity in this matter.
How will the result be made
After the CBSE Class 12 exam cancellation, the important question now is, on what basis will the students get the marks and how will the result be made?
The Center and CBSE have said that marking will be done under appropriate criterion as per the time and the result will be ready. At the same time, students will also be given the option to take the exam like last time. Students who are not satisfied with their marks will later be able to choose to give exams.
