The Supreme Court said that for this, the child who is studying in government or private school, wherever he is, his education should continue there. It has asked the state governments as well as the central government to provide financial assistance to such children. The court said in its order that food, medicine and clothes should be provided immediately to all the orphaned children. Also, the children whose guardians are not able to keep them, those children should be handed over to the Child Welfare Committee (CWC) now.

Keep in mind that according to the report of the National Commission for Protection of Child Rights (NCPCR), parents of 30 thousand children have died due to the Kovid-19 epidemic across the country. The Supreme Court said that after locating such children, the website should be updated continuously. The Supreme Court said that children are a priceless asset, so their future should not be spoiled for any reason. The court gave clear orders to the central and state governments for this.
Supreme Court p. reprimand to bengal government
In Monday’s hearing, the Supreme Court came down heavily on the West Bengal government and said that the state government is not uploading the information of orphaned children on the website, which is a matter of concern. He said that the state government was making excuses for not understanding the verdict of the Supreme Court. The Supreme Court told the representative of the state government that all the states have provided the information, then only P. Why is Bengal getting confused? The court had ordered the state to immediately update the information of orphans on the website.
Announcement of financial help from PM Cares Fund
On May 28, the Supreme Court had ordered all district administrations to put the information of all the children orphaned after March 2020 on the ‘Bal Swaraj’ portal of NCPCR. On May 29, Prime Minister Narendra Modi had announced financial assistance for such orphans from the PM Cares Fund.
