A Delhi court has issued non-bailable warrants against two-time Olympic medalist wrestler Sushil Kumar and six others in the Chhatrasal Stadium controversy case. A wrestler was killed in the dispute. The police gave information about this. A few days earlier, a lookout notice was issued against Sushil Kumar in the same case.
The police have already recorded the statements of the victims in this case. The quarrel was over the eviction of a flat in the Model Town area of Delhi. Earlier, a police officer said that Sushil Kumar’s name is also registered in the FIR and he is absconding, efforts are being made to apprehend him. Also said that raids are being conducted in Delhi-NCR and neighboring states to catch Sushil. The victims allege that Sushil was present at the time of the quarrel.
In fact, 23-year-old Sagar and his two friends were allegedly beaten up badly by some other wrestlers in a dispute at North Delhi’s Chhatrasal Stadium last Tuesday, in which he (Sagar) was killed.
According to the police, Sushil Kumar, Ajay, Prince Dalal, Sonu, Sagar, Amit and others were involved in the dispute. Police have registered a case in this regard under various sections of the Indian Penal Code and Arms Act. Police have already apprehended Prince Dalal (24), hailing from Jhajjar, Haryana.
