China is rapidly increasing its capabilities to challenge the US in the field of space. In this episode, China has announced that its automatic spacecraft is easily connected to the space station being built. This Chinese vehicle has arrived with fuel and equipment for astronauts coming to the space station in the future. China wants to challenge America’s NASA through its space station. Actually, NASA along with many other European countries are operating the International Space Station. Recently Russia has separated from this station, calling it dangerous.
China Mand Space said the Tianzhou-2 spacecraft arrived at the Tianhe Space Center eight hours after it was launched from Hainan, an island in the South China Sea. The space arrived with clothes, food supplies and equipment and fuel for the center. Tianhe or Heavenly Harmony is the third and largest orbital center launched by the country under China’s increasingly ambitious space program.
China launched its first launch on 29 April
The most important module of this center was started on 29 April. The space agency plans a total of 11 launches by the end of next year which will deliver two more modules, supplies and three crew members to this 70-ton center. China has recently been criticized for allowing part of the rocket launching Tianhe uncontrolled to fall to the earth. There is no indication what will happen to the rocket launched on Saturday.
China is not part of ISS
Beijing is not a part of the International Space Center (ISS) and the objection is largely due to the US. The US is careful about the secrecy of China’s programs and its military contacts. Chinese space scientists have claimed that this space station will start functioning by the end of this year. Its life span is estimated at 15 years. The length of the Chinese core capsule is 4.2 m and the diadem is 16.6 m.
Chinese space station will be ‘T’ shaped
The space center of China will be shaped like the English letter T, with the main module in the middle, while the labs will be used as labs on either side. The weight of each module will be 20 tons and when the astronauts, carrying astronauts and baggage arrive at the space station, it can reach 100 tons. This space station is being set up at an altitude of 340 to 450 kilometers in the lower orbit of the Earth.
