CM Yogi’s decision: Night curfew imposed across the state from today, lockdown to remain on weekends

So far, night curfew was applicable in districts where the situation was worse but in view of the ever increasing number of corona infected people and the chaos in hospitals, the government has taken this decision.

In Uttar Pradesh, curfew will be imposed every night from Tuesday. Meanwhile, lockdown will be imposed from 8 pm on Friday to 7 am on Monday. State Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath gave these directions in a meeting with Team XI on Tuesday.

So far, night curfew was

applicable in districts where the situation was worse but in view of the ever increasing number of corona infected people and the chaos in hospitals, the government has taken this decision.

Chief Minister Yogi said in a meeting with officials that restraint and patience are our biggest weapons amidst this horror of Covid-19. Weekly lockdown will be effective in the state every Saturday and Sunday. In addition, in districts where there are more than 500 active cases, the remaining activities will be restricted every day from 08.00 p.m. to 07.00 a.m. the next day except the necessary services. This rule should be implemented with immediate effect.

Every citizen has contributed to the success of corona curfew, says CM. Don’t leave the house as far as necessary. Celebrate festivals and festivals at home. If you leave, you must wear a mask. Don’t be crowded in public places. It should be strictly enforced.

Home and Transport Department to work together for return of migrants

Migrants are returning from Maharashtra, Rajasthan and Delhi. Special vigilance needs to be maintained in the border districts. Arrangements should be made for smooth movement of these migrant workers and laborer’s. The Home Department and the Transport Department should coordinate and take necessary action. There should be proper arrangements for testing and treatment of these migrant laborer’s as per requirement.

Vaccination is most effective in protecting against covid infection. In Uttar Pradesh, the covid vaccination drive has been conducted better so far. Prime Minister Narendra Modi has introduced vaccination system for all people above the age of 18 years from May 1. His decision is welcome. This new phase of vaccination will prove decisive in the battle with Covid. All necessary arrangements should be ensured for major immunization starting from May 1.
