Dubai| New Zealand batsman Devon Conway and England women’s team spinner Sophie Ecclestone have been named ICC Players of the Month for the month of June.
The International Cricket Council (ICC) issued a statement saying, “Conway won the Player of the Month award over compatriot Kyle Jamieson, who was adjudged player of the match in the final of the World Test Championship against India, and Quinton de Kock of South Africa.” has won.”
Conway had a stellar performance in his first month of Test cricket, scoring a double century in his debut Test against England at Lord’s. He scored a half-century in the final of the World Championship and other Tests against England.

Sophie won the award leaving behind India’s Shafali Verma and Sneh Rana. Sophie also became the second England player after Tammy Beaumont to win the ICC Women’s Player of the Month.
Sophie, who won the ICC Emerging Player of the Year award in 2018, was one of the most successful bowlers in the one-off Test against India in Bristol, taking eight wickets.
