There is good news for the youth of Bihar during the Corona period. The corona vaccination, which was closed for 8 days for the youth of 18-44 years, is going to start again today. For this, one and a half lakh doses of vaccine have reached the capital Patna late on Wednesday evening.

Due to the lack of a vaccine, this campaign of youth was stopped for a few days. Although the vaccination went well till 25 May. Now from today i.e. from June 3, the personnel deputed at all the vaccine centers have been asked to reach the centre. In the urban area also, the campaign is going to start again for those who have crossed 45.
Arrangement of dosage of 200 people at each center
Each site has to feed 200 people. At the same time, the second dose is being given for the elderly in rural areas through Tika Express. So far, the first dose has been given to 128937 youths in the age group of 18 to 44 in Patna district. Eight days later, according to the number of vaccines Patna has received, this campaign will continue for the next five to six days.

People of urban areas of Bihar will be able to get corona vaccine near their home. For this, Tika Express will be dispatched in the wards of all the municipal bodies. On Thursday, Chief Minister Nitish Kumar will flag off 121 Tika Express. In Patna, 36 vehicles will go to different localities of the city to give vaccine. The special thing is that there will be on-spot registration for this. For this, the person taking the vaccine will have to bring his Aadhar card.
At the same time, three more vehicles have become available to increase the maximum number of corona tests from mobile RTPCR vans. These trains will also be flagged off by the Chief Minister along with Tika Express. Apart from this, five more such mobile RTPCR vans will be sent to different areas of the state within the next 10 days.

At the same time, the second dose is being given for the elderly in rural areas through Tika Express. Vaccination drive at ward level in Katihar
The Health Department has started the COVID vaccination campaign at Block and Panchayat level in Katihar district with an aim to attract more beneficiaries. But so far it has not picked up pace. According to the source, the number of people at various vaccination sites is less for the last four days. Instead of 4,000, only 1,500 people have participated in the 40 vaccination camps organized in the district.
