Amid growing infection of the corona epidemic, 18 to 44 years of vaccination (Corona Vaccination Rajasthan) is starting in Rajasthan from May 1, that is, Saturday. In this, Corona vaccine will be installed at 11 district headquarters only. The health minister of the state, Dr. Raghu Sharma, said that from May 1, vaccination of people under the age of 45 years is starting at the 11 district headquarters of the state. These include Jaipur, Jodhpur, Ajmer, Bikaner, Udaipur, Alwar, Dhaulpur, Bhilwara, Kota, Sikar and Pali.

Health Minister Dr. Raghu Sharma said that the vaccine manufacturer Serum Institute of India has agreed to give three lakh doses to Rajasthan at present. Therefore, vaccination for this age group is being started from the 11 district headquarters which are most affected by Kovid-19. Dr. Sharma said that in the coming days when more doses will be received from the pharmaceutical company, then vaccination will be started everywhere.

The 11 districts where 18+ people will start vaccinations from May 1 include Jaipur, Jodhpur, Ajmer, Bikaner, Udaipur, Alwar, Dhaulpur, Bhilwara, Kota, Sikar and Pali.

‘Around 3.25 crore people in the age group of 18-44 in Rajasthan’
The medical minister said that there are about 3.25 crore people in the age group of 18-44 years in the state, so the state needs seven crore doses of the vaccine. He informed that preparations have been made to give seven lakh doses daily in the state, which can be further increased. The department had applied 5 lakh 80 thousand doses of the vaccine in a day. He said that people above the age of 45 are about 29 million, out of which many people are yet to be given the second dose.

And vaccination will start in all districts when the vaccine dose comes
Dr. Sharma said that due to the rapidly increasing number of corona virus infections, the state needs 15 thousand remadecivir injections daily from May 1. However, the allocation being made by the Central Government is very less. He said that in the month of April, 67 thousand Remedesivir injections were allotted to Rajasthan, but only 40 thousand injections could be available to the state. He said that adequate number of beds are available in hospitals or covid care centers in the state, but the challenge is being faced due to the allocation of oxygen and Remedisvir in the hands of the Central Government.
