It is being claimed by the district authorities that they are asking for medicines on the basis of demand, but the reality is that people are pleading for them. Social media is also being appealed to those who are cheating the claims of the officials. People are pleading with actor Sonu Sood to the Prime Minister for injections to be used in the treatment of this disease. Meanwhile, in view of the increasing number of patients in the district, the government has increased the number of beds of black fungus patients from 40 to 150 in the district.

Vimlesh Varshya was also suffering from black fungus. He was undergoing treatment at the Asian Hospital at Sector-21A. He also had trouble getting injections. His son Ravi Varshay kept on asking for injections for him. She was also a kidney patient. Ravi has said that his mother did not get the injection despite all the efforts. Mail was sent from the hospital for injections, but still his name did not figure in the list of injections. Then it was said that the injection would be given after the meeting of the government officials to be held the next day. Mother continued to ache with pain. His voice went away. Due to this she could not scream. Raising voice for her, Shailaja Sharma says that she is no longer there. He did not receive an injection. I do not know whose fault it is. The family waited until the last minute for the injection.

Increasing patients, number of beds increased
The number of patients is continuously increasing. Presently, more than 60 Black Fungus patients are admitted in the district. In view of this, the government has increased the number of beds in government medical colleges from 20-20 to 75-75 for the treatment of black fungus patients. Black fungus patients are being admitted to two government medical colleges of the district, ESIC Medical College and Alflah School of Medical Science and Research located in Dhauj village. Apart from this, private hospitals are also undergoing treatment. Private hospitals have been ordered to give details of every patient to the health department. There are more than 500 black fungus patients in the state.

Government process became the reason for delay
There is a delay in reaching medicine for the patients of Black Fungus and this is becoming fatal for them. Since the process of getting the medicine is long. It takes a long time to complete. There is a ban on selling it at medical stores to prevent black marketing of drugs. The district health department provides medicines after sending the government’s permission to the hospitals to send full details of the patient. The government has said that the patients will not be allowed to face the problems of medicines, but so far about 100 injections have been received in the district.

Patient needs more than one injection
According to experts, a patient needs more than one injection according to his condition. To supply Amphotericin-B injection, the hospital has to fill the proforma and send it to amphoharyana@gmail.com. After investigation, the Health Department orders the injection. This process is delayed. On the other hand, CMO Dr. Randeep Singh Poonia says that medicines are being made available to the government by informing them on demand. Quota is going to increase soon.
