The government of Nepal has decided to close 22 of its entry points linked to it amid the huge increase in Kovid-19 cases in India. According to officials, the decision has been taken after the Kovid Crisis Management Coordination Committee (CCMC) on Friday recommended the Council of Ministers to close 22 of the 35 entry points between Nepal and India.
Only 13 entry points will now operate between Nepal and India. This decision has been taken in view of the sharp increase in the cases of Kovid-19 in India. There
The total number of infected people has increased to 1,91,64,969 after 4,01,993 new cases of infection were reported in India as per updated data till 8 am on Saturday morning. The number of under-treated patients has increased to more than 32 lakhs.
So far, 3,23,187 cases of Kovid-19 have been reported in Nepal. 3,279 patients have died. Infection cases are not growing as fast. There have been five thousand new cases of infection in the country on Thursday and Friday.
