Cyclone Yaas: Feel of winter in summer, ‘Yas Yatra’ in Bihar through pictures

Many cities are struggling with the problem of water logging, so many municipal corporations have got the message of further preparation.

Water in Patna’s Jayaprabha Hospital

There is water logging in Motizheel, Kedarnath Road, Hospital Road, Mithanpura in Muzaffarpur due to rain. It is difficult to get out of the house in many neighborhoods of the city. Begusarai upset by water logging

Cyclonic storms resulted in heavy rainfall in urban areas including Begusarai. The torrential rains inundated many places in the city. In the low-lying areas, the water has drained out, but in areas like Station Road, water logging has created problems.

To avoid possible accidents in rural areas, power is cut when strong wind blows. Trees fell in many areas of Bihar due to cyclone ‘Yas’. Trees were uprooted in Aurangabad city too. Due to which electricity problem persisted.

Water logging in low lying areas of Nawada

The effect of ‘Yas’ storm has also been seen in Nawada district. Due to rain, water filled in many places including Sadar Hospital, Collectorate, Main Road, Thana Road but also got out in a while. Now the low-lying areas of the city are waterlogged.

Water entered many houses of Katihar

The urban and rural areas of Katihar were hit by the ‘Yas’ storm. The intermittent rains with strong winds kept the people worried. Especially the life of the villagers of the block area got disturbed. Water has entered many houses.

Many houses in Nalanda are engulfed in water

The preparations of Biharsharif Municipal Corporation were fuzzy in front of the ‘Yas’ storm. The rain submerged many areas of the city. Waterlogged due to rain water in Patel Nagar, Magadh Colony, Ashanagar, Habibpura. There was a lot of water in these localities.

Filled water in the fields of Paliganj

Hurricane ‘Yas’ of vegetable-producing farmers broke its back. Due to the rain, the vegetable fields were filled with water. Due to this, there has been a lot of damage to the vegetable crop. However, there is an atmosphere of happiness among the farmers producing Kharif crops.

Accidents occurred in many places including Bhojpur

Due to cyclonic storm ‘Yas’, crude houses fell in many places. At least half a dozen people lost their lives in this incident. A house collapsed in Sangam Tola village of Jagdishpur police station in Bhojpur. In which the landlord died.
