London| After seven members were found to be Corona positive, England has announced a new team for the ODI series against Pakistan, which will be captained by Ben Stokes. Nine uncapped players have also been given place in the team.

The ODI series between England and Pakistan is to start from July 8 and even before that three players and four management members were found to be Corona positive, due to which England had to announce a new team.

The England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) issued a statement on Tuesday saying that it has announced an 18-man squad for the series against Pakistan.

The ECB said, “Stokes has returned and will be the captain of the team, while Chris Silverwood, who has been away from the limited overs series for some time, will also return as head coach. A total of nine uncapped players will also be in the team. The place has been given.”

The ODI squad is as follows:

Ben Stokes (c), Jacques Ball, Denny Briggs, Brydon Carsey, Jack Crawley, Ben Duckett, Louis Gregory, Tom Helm, Will Jaques, Dan Lawrence, Saqib Mahmood, David Malan, Craig Overton, Matt Parkinson, David Payne, Phil Salt, John Simpson and James Vince.
