Our production of liquid oxygen increased by 10 times
Referring to the lack of oxygen in various parts of the country in the second wave of the Kovid epidemic, the Prime Minister also talked about the steps taken by the government to meet this deficiency and the warriors who contributed to it and listened to their experiences. He said, ‘You can guess, in normal days we used to produce 900 metric tons of liquid medical oxygen in a day, but now it is being produced more than 10 times, about 9500 metric tons per day. . ‘
Now more than 20 lakh tests of corona are being done in one day.
He said that in the beginning of Kovid-19 there was only one laboratory in the country to check for corona virus infection which has increased to more than 2500 today. He said, ‘Initially a few hundred investigations were conducted in a day, now more than 20 lakh investigations are being conducted in a day. So far, more than 33 crore samples have been tested in the country.
