Legendary actor Dilip Kumar died on Wednesday 7 July at Hinduja Hospital in Mumbai. He was 98 years old. He was ill for a long time. Dilip Kumar was very popular not only in India but also in Pakistan.

Former Pakistani captain Shahid Afridi paid his tribute to Dilip Kumar on Twitter. He expressed deep condolences on the death of Dilip Kumar. He said, this is a deep loss for the fans of Yusuf Sahab.

He tweeted, ‘We all have come from Allah and we have to go back to Allah only. This is a big loss for the fans of Yusuf Sahab from Khyber Pakhtoon-Khwah to Mumbai. He lives in our heart. My deepest condolences to Saira Banu Sahiba.

Indian cricketer Virender Sehwag has also expressed grief over the death of Dilip Kumar. He tweeted, ‘Heartfelt condolences to the family of Dilip Kumar. The great man had said, “Fate changes, times change, countries change dates, emperors change, but in this changing world, the person whom love holds, does not change.”

Dhawan said, “Very saddened by the passing of Dilip Sahab. He was a great actor who left a deep impact on Indian cinema. He will be an inspiration for many generations to come.
