More than 300 families living in an RWA housing society in Indirapuram, Ghaziabad have been infected with Kovid-19. In the SoS sent to the Uttar Pradesh government, the RWA appealed for Argentine aid to prevent the infection of the virus. At the same time, 9 people have also died.
According to Amrapali Village RWA, infection has been spreading since mid-April in a society with 1002 flats. It has also been claimed that there have been 9 deaths in the last 30 days. People living here ran a lot
According to our associate newspaper Times of India, the number of active cases in the society could not be verified. According to Health Department officials, they will see the number shared by RWA. The society was sealed by the district administration a day before SOS. Standards for checking virus infection were not checked.
According to the RWA, five patients in the society are in critical condition, who need to be admitted to oxygen and hospital. On April 10, there were about 20 Kovid cases in the society. But this number increased rapidly. By April 21, 120 people underwent corona positive tests. By 4 May the number had reached close to 350.
RWA President Deepak Kumar said, ‘We informed the administration on behalf of Amrapali Village. But no action was taken. The Society was sealed after two weeks. The sealing order was on 25 April and was done on 3 May. Things are very bad here. People are struggling with oxygen and bed scarcity. We have 8 cylinders, which are being given to patients in critical condition. They are also finished, which is a big challenge to get them refilled.
According to the RWA, the administration was not contacted despite tweeting to the state government and asking for help. DM Krishna Karunesh and CMO Dr Sunil Tyagi have said that they will look into the matter. Additional City Magistrate Vinay Singh has said that he will try to arrange beds for serious patients in Kovid Hospital.
