Cardiff. Pakistan batsman Harris Sohail has been ruled out of the three-match ODI series against England due to injury. According to a report in Cricbuzz, middle-order batsman Harris suffered an injury while training for the team last week. His MRI scan was done in which his injury was found to be serious, due to which Harris will now have to stay in rehabilitation for four weeks at the National High Performance Center in Lahore. Harris will now return to Pakistan.
Harris said, “I was excited for this ODI series because I had to contribute to the team’s victory and cement my place. But I am disappointed because I have to leave the tour midway. I am now in Lahore. I will go into rehabilitation so that I can fully recover for the 2021-22 season.
The first match of the three-match ODI series will be played between England and Pakistan from today. (IANS)
