In Kolkata, Punjab Police killed two gangsters in an encounter, one officer was also injured

During an operation in Kolkata, West Bengal, the Punjab Police killed two gangsters involved in the killing of two policemen in an encounter. The slain gangsters include main accused and prize gangster Jaipal Bhullar and his accomplice Jaspreet Jassi. In this action of Punjab Police,

a policeman was also shot. Due to this he got injured. He has been admitted to the hospital at present.

Jaipal Singh Bhullar and Jaspreet Singh, wanted in connection with the murder of two ASIs in Punjab, were gunned down by the police force during an operation in Kolkata, a senior police officer said on Wednesday. Acting on the basis of an intelligence input, the Punjab Police team has taken this action with the help of Kolkata Police.

Two gangsters piled up in Kolkata
Punjab Director General of Police (DGP) Dinkar Gupta said that both the persons were killed in Kolkata. Organized Crime Control Unit (OCCU) of Punjab Police was involved in this operation. On May 15, two ASIs – Bhagwan Singh and Dalwinderjit Singh – were shot dead at the Nai Anaj Mandi of Jagraon in Ludhiana district.
