The limited overs series played between India and Sri Lanka may be rescheduled. A series of three ODIs and three T20 matches were to be played between India and Sri Lanka from July 13. Now this series is likely to start from July 17. Sri Lanka Cricket wants all players to complete their extended quarantine period. According to the earlier schedule, a three-match ODI series was to be played from July 13 to 18 and then a three-match T20 series was to be played from July 21 to 25. All these matches were to be played at the R Premadasa Stadium in Colombo.
According to the ESPNcricinfo report, the ODI matches will now be held on July 17, 19 and 21, while the T20 matches will be held on July 24, 25 and 27. This series can be pushed forward due to the corona positive case coming up from the Sri Lanka camp. Before the start of the series between India and Sri Lanka, data analyst GT Niroshan of Sri Lanka cricket team has been found to be Corona positive on Friday. Significantly, before GT Niroshan, Sri Lanka’s batting coach Grant Flower was found to be Corona positive on Thursday.
