Indian Navy’s MH-60 Romeo Helicopter takes first flight, Sino-Pak arrogance will be missing at sea

These helicopters worth Rs 15,157 crore can be operated from frigates, destroyers, cruisers and aircraft carriers. A helicopter costs around $ 28 million.

America’s ‘Romeo’ is a ‘flying frigate’ in the sea

MH60 Romeo helicopters are called flying frigates at sea. The chopper is equipped with multiple-mode radar, night vision equipment, Hellfire missiles, MK-54 torpedoes and rockets capable of destroying enemy submarines. India currently has 140 warships but a strict shortage of such attack naval helicopters is being felt. Around 300 MH60 RC Hawk helicopters are being used worldwide. The helicopter has a firepower of about 834 km and weighs 689 kg.
