The BCCI has issued NOC to 4 women cricketers, including T20 captain Harmanpreet Kaur, to play in the first ‘Hundred’ tournament to be held in Britain in July.
Openers Smriti Mandhana and Deepti Sharma are also among the four players who have been allowed to play in the 100-ball tournament. The name of the fourth player is yet to be known.

Britain will tour in June-July
It is learned that these four players will remain in the UK after the tour of England in June-July. The Indian tour will begin on 16 June with the only Test match. The tour will conclude on July 15 with the third and final T20 international. Meanwhile, a three-match ODI series will also be played.
The Indian team has not yet been selected for this tour while the BCCI’s Cricket Advisory Committee may announce the head coach soon.
Players will report on 27 May
The selected players will have to report on 27 May but it is not yet known how they will be touring the UK as the British government has suspended flights from India due to escalation of Kovid-19 cases.
Sources said, “The players have been asked to report for the tour on 27 May.” Harmanpreet, Mandhana, Deepti Sharma and Jemima Rodrigues participated in the Super League in 2019. The tournament was later dissolved by the England and Wales Cricket Board for Women’s Hundred.
