Anti Corruption Bureau (ACB) team took major action in Palamu. Employment servant was arrested taking a bribe of 10 thousand rupees. The employment servant was arrested from the Chhatarpur Block office premises of the district. After the arrest, the ACB team went to Medininagar for employment. From where he was sent to judicial custody.
6 bribes have been caught so
ACB (Anti Corruption Bureau) DSP Karuna Nand Ram said that with the arrest of the employment servant, Medini Nagar unit completed the sixth trap case of this year. Many officials and public representatives from BDO have been caught in the ACB.
Bribe was sought for sign on MNREGA form
In fact, Shambhunath Yadav (25), resident of Kanchanpur in Chhatarpur block, had to sign the Mahatma Gandhi Employment Guarantee Act (MNREGA) form. For this, Shambhunath Yadav approached the employment servant Abdul Rahman, then he demanded a bribe of Rs 10,000. Shambhunath Yadav did not want to bribe. Even after several requests, when the employment servant did not sign the form, he lodged a complaint with the ACB’s Medininagar office in this regard.
Caught taking bribe in Chhatarpur block office
The case was verified by forming a team regarding the complaint. If the case is proved to be true, a team was formed to take action in this regard. The plaintiff was sent 10 thousand rupees of chemical bribe and sent to Chhatarpur block office with the team. As soon as the employment servant took 10 thousand rupees of bribe in the office premises, ACB jawans present on the spot arrested the employment servant red handed. Employment servant Abdul Rahman is a resident of Lal Kotha area of Medninagar.
