Jharkhand News: TB Sanatorium to be used as Kovid Hospital, CM Hemant Soren’s big announcement amid Corona crisis

In view of this, the Chief Minister has decided to use TB sanatorium in Itki, Ranchi as a Kovid Hospital. Treatment of corona infects will start here very soon. In this connection, Chief Minister Hemant Soren inspected the facilities available here on Friday.

The Chief Minister said that in the second wave
of Kovid-19, the number of patients is increasing very fast. Accordingly, facilities in hospitals here are also falling short. Especially the lack of oxygen-rich beds, oxygen cylinders, ventilators and ICUs is seen most. In such a situation, the entire effort of the government is to increase the number of beds and maintain oxygen supply normal. Keeping this in view, itki TB TB Sanatorium will also increase beds, ensure oxygen availability and provide other medical resources. So that it can be used as a Kovid-19 hospital. The Chief Minister inspected the General Ward, Lab and OPD here.

Government is trying to increase beds in hospitals: CM
The Chief Minister said that the government is constantly making efforts to increase beds in various hospitals. So far, 9098 beds have been increased in the entire state. In this episode, here too, the government will make all the necessary arrangements regarding the treatment of about five hundred corona infected.

Hemant Soren said – Second wave of Corona is very dangerous
The Chief Minister told the people that the second wave of Corona is proving very dangerous. A little carelessness in it can increase the risk significantly. In this case, do not forget to take the corona lightly. No effective treatment of this disease has been possible so far. In order to avoid the risk of infection, people should use masks and follow two yards at any cost. He said that Health Safety Week is being observed from April 22 to April 29 to break the corona chain. The state’s people follow this and cooperate with the government.

Itki TB Sanatorium Superintendent Dr. Ranjit Prasad informed the Chief Minister about the facilities available here. He said that there are a total of 104 beds in the general ward here, while the number of cottages is 52. However, construction work is currently underway at the cottage. The Chief Minister said that along with increasing the capacity of beds in this hospital, all necessary facilities will be made available for the treatment of patients very soon.

Hemant Soren to inaugurate Kovid circuit online in Ranchi and Jamshedpur
The state government has taken another major step in the ongoing war against Kovid-19. Corona patients will now be provided facilities through the Kovid circuit. In this connection, Chief Minister Hemant Soren will inaugurate two Kovid circuits online. This Kovid circuit will be in Ranchi and Jamshedpur. Under this, patients in hospitals in Ranchi and Jamshedpur will be provided this facility in the nearest district if they do not have oxygen-rich beds.

The Chief Minister has been making continuous efforts to provide better medical care to the Corona patients. In this connection, oxygen-rich beds are being provided to the patients through the Kovid circuit. Corona-infected patients who wish to take advantage of this facility can call 104 and be admitted to the hospital of their nearest district. This facility is completely free.
