England fast bowler Jofra Archer has started practicing after right hand surgery. Archer has been ruled out of IPL 2021 due to injury. In the IPL, Archer was to play for Rajasthan Royals.

Recently the England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) had announced that Archer would not be able to make a comeback in the 14th season of the IPL. The 26-year-old bowler from England has started practice this week. The ECB and Sussex teams will continue to monitor their progress.
The statement issued to the ECB said, ‘Archer will now start full practice with Sussex from next week. It is expected that he will return to cricket in the next 15 days and during this time he will continue bowling while remaining pain free.
Surgery was done on 29 March
Archer’s right hand underwent surgery on 29 March. Archer’s IPL franchise Rajasthan Royals were expected to be available for the subsequent matches of the tournament.
