CET exam will be held on 28 to 30 August at so many exam centers
Karnataka CET Exam will be conducted from 28th to 30th August 2021 at 500 exam centers spread across the state. The exam will be conducted in two shifts. The exam for Biology and Maths will be held on August 28, 2021, while the exam for Physics and Chemistry will be held on August 29.
Deputy Chief Minister gave this important information regarding the marking scheme
He said that due to the COVID-19 situation, the minimum qualifying marks for CET was reduced. “Usually the students have been prescribed 45 per cent (40 per cent for SC/ST/OBC) in PCM (Physics, Chemistry, Maths) in 2nd PUC for KCET. It has been relaxed for the minimum score obtained for this year’s academic year. He made it clear that admission will be given on the basis of marks obtained in PCM in engineering courses. At the same time, he also said that “the old process of considering PCM marks from annual examinations and KCET in equal proportion will not be applicable this year.”
