On February 28, after the death of Arun Kumar Singh, who was made the Chief Secretary of the state, a wave of mourning has raged in the administrative and political corridors of Bihar. After his tragic death from Corona, many leaders including CM Nitish Kumar have expressed deep sorrow.
Chief Minister Nitish Kumar expressed
Chief Minister Nitish Kumar expressed condolences and deep condolences on the death of Chief Secretary Arun Kumar Singh due to corona infection. The Chief Minister came to know about the untimely demise of the Chief Secretary at the conclusion of the cabinet meeting. In the cabinet meeting, a minute of silence was observed while condoling the death of the Chief Secretary. He will be cremated with state honors.
The Chief Minister said in his condolence message that ‘Arun Kumar Singh was a 1985 batch IAS officer of Bihar cadre. He was a skilled administrator of the Indian Administrative Service. He was a sociable person. He had better discharge his role while holding various positions. His death has caused irreparable damage in the administrative sector. The Chief Minister has prayed to God to grant the departed soul peace and strength to his family to bear patience in this hour of grief.
Assembly Speaker Vijay Sinha also expressed grief
Bihar Assembly Speaker Vijay Kumar Sinha has also expressed grief over the demise of Chief Secretary Arun Kumar Singh. He said that ‘I am saddened by the death of Arun Kumar Singh. He was a skilled and dutiful administrator. His death has caused irreparable damage to the administrative world. May God give the departed soul peace and grief to the bereaved family to bear the grief.

Former CM Manjhi also expressed grief over the demise of the Chief Secretary
Former CM Jitan Ram Manjhi has mourned the death of Bihar Chief Secretary Arun Kumar Singh. Apart from this, Minister Santosh Majhi, HAM spokesman Danish Rizwan, Dhirendra Kumar Sinha alias Munna and Vijay Yadav have also expressed grief. Manjhi said that ‘the country has lost a skilled administrator and educationist, I am saddened by his demise’.
Bihar’s chief secretary died due to corona
Let us tell you that on Thursday, Bihar Chief Secretary Arun Kumar Singh has died after being infected with Corona. Chief Secretary Arun Kumar Singh Corona was infected and admitted to Paras Hospital in the capital. On April 15, his Corona report came back positive. He was then admitted to a private hospital where he breathed his last.
Chief Secretary Arun Kumar Singh was earlier admitted to AIIMS after finding out the infection but was admitted to a private hospital due to poor health. On February 28, after Deepak Kumar retired as Chief Secretary, Arun Kumar Singh was made the new Chief Secretary of Bihar.
