There is a situation of panic in Meerut regarding Remadecivir injection. In such a situation, in the face of deteriorating conditions of Corona, the black marketers have also made the disaster an opportunity. On the one hand, the doctors of Meerut say that Remedesvir is not a panacea. Doctors give this injection only to patients in need, but there is confusion among people that this injection can save lives. The situation is that a Remedesivir injection is being sold for up to 80 thousand rupees in the black market.
Timard himself insists on Remedesvir injection
Former senior counselor of Meerut District Hospital, Dr. Sunila Kaushik, says that Remedesvir is not a panacea. Doctors also apply Remadecivir only to patients in need, but there is confusion among people that this injection can save lives. WHO and AIIMS have also excluded it from the corona treatment protocol. Patients of the patients themselves insist on Remedesvir, so doctors are forced to take this injection on prescription. Medical store operators of Meerut say that when the shopkeeper does not have the right of sale in his hands then how should he give this injection. It would be good if the doctors do not write this form to the patients, so that the family does not go astray in the market.
Huge difference between demand and supply
Drug Inspector Pawan Shakya of Meerut says that the demand for 1500 injections daily is coming, but we are getting only 40-50 Remedisivir. The situation can be gauged from the fact that there are 30 Kovid Hospitals in the district. That is, there are only one to two injections per day in a hospital part. Control of sales is in the hands of the district administration. No stockist can sell it to a private person.

Oximeter is being sold at double the rate
The black market of Oximeter has also started in Meerut. It is being sold at more than double the price. Up to 25 days ago, the Oximeter available for 500 to 700 rupees is available in 1500. At the same time, thermometers available in 100 to 120 are also available in 150-200. Shopkeepers say goods are not available on time and demand has increased manifold. At the same time, black marketing of sanitizer has also started. Retail shopkeepers are charging an arbitrary price for sanitizers compared to previous days. Drug inspector Pawan Shakya said that the black marketing of Pulse Oximeter would not be allowed at all. If anyone is found committing black marketing, strict action will be taken against him.
