Michael Vaughan praised Robinson, who was caught in the obscene tweet controversy, said – Dhansu performance impressed

former england cricketer Michael Vaughan Fast bowler for bowling well in the first innings against New Zealand Ollie Robinson is appreciated. Robinson made his debut in the first Test against New Zealand and took four wickets for 75 runs in the first innings.

Vaughan wrote on Twitter: “If on-field cricket matters, Robinson’s debut is going to be impressive and England has been looking for a player like this for a long time.” Robinson, however, was embroiled in controversy in the first Test itself.

After the first day’s play was over, several of his tweets, which were from 2012, went viral.

However, Robinson later apologized as the matter escalated. All these posts by Robinson are related to gender discrimination and racism in 2012-13. However, Robinson has since apologized for the posts he wrote as a teenager. Robinson said that he made these tweets when he was going through a bad phase in his life as English county Yorkshire kicked him out as a teenager.
