After India, there are now record cases of corona virus in Nepal and is stirred by deaths. A record 7,448 cases of corona virus were reported in Nepal on Monday, while 37 patients died. For the first time in Nepal, so many patients have died in a day. After which the government has immediately announced a ban on all domestic flights. From 6 May onwards, there will be a ban on the arrival of flights from abroad in Nepal.

No foreign flights will go to Nepal till May 14
The Nepal government has banned all domestic and international flights till 14 May in view of the increasing corona cases in the country. Health Minister Hridayesh Tripathi told the Kathmandu Post that the decision on the flight ban is in force until 14 May. However, charter flights will be allowed. Nepal has made it mandatory for all people coming from outside to stay quarantined for at least 10 days.
Passengers will be quarantined for 10 days
Foreign travelers coming to Kathmandu Valley will be quarantined for 10 days in hotels. The Kovid Negative Certificate within 72 hours will also be compulsory for these travelers to depart from their country of origin for entering Nepal. The bus service has already been stopped before April 29. Prior to the Oli Cabinet’s decision, the Civil Aviation Regulatory Authority had already issued a quota to airlines to limit the number of flights.
