Nepal’s Supreme Court orders to appoint Sher Bahadur Deuba as Prime Minister within two days


Nepal’s Supreme Court has issued an important order amid the ongoing volatile political crisis in Nepal. The Nepalese Supreme Court has ordered that Sher Bahadur Deuba be appointed Prime Minister within two days. President Vidya Bhandari dissolved the Parliament a few days ago. The Supreme Court gave this order during the hearing of the petition filed against the President’s decision. After this order of the Supreme Court, the political deadlock that has been going on for months in Nepal will end.

Let us tell you that on the recommendation of Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli, President Vidya Bhandari dissolved the lower house of Parliament twice in five months. After the dissolution of Parliament, it was announced to hold mid-term elections on 12 and 19 November.

30 petitions were filed in the Nepalese Supreme Court regarding the election and against the decision of the President. Let us tell you that even after losing during the trust vote in the 275-member House, Oli is leading the minority government. After this order of the Supreme Court, the command will be taken from their hands.
