Along with this, the last date to apply for NEST CBT has also been extended. Eligible candidates can now apply online till July 15, 11:59 PM.

NEST 2021 When is the new exam date?
According to the notification released on the official website, “After reviewing the situation of COVID-19 pandemic and related uncertainties, it has been decided to postpone NEST 2021. A new date will be announced with further notice. Candidates can continue to apply online till July 15, 2021.”

What is NEST?
NEST is an entrance exam conducted by National Institute of Science Education and Research (NISER), Bhubaneswar for five years M.Sc in Biology, Chemistry, Mathematics, and Physics subjects. Program course and for taking admission in Basic Science course from Department of Atomic Energy Center, Mumbai University.

Exam Pattern
National Entrance Screening Test (NEST) is a computer based test (CBT) consisting of multiple choice questions. Students who have passed class 12th or equivalent with at least 60 percent marks are eligible to apply for this exam. Admission will be given on the basis of merit.
