Money withdrawn from Aadhar card through POS
On May 16, at 11 am, the fraudsters once again made a thumb clone and took away 9 thousand rupees from his account. When he went to the bank and inquired about withdrawing money from the account, it was found that he had withdrawn this money from Aadhaar card through POS machine (biometric machine). When the bank investigated, it was found that their own thumb impressions have been taken while withdrawing money.

Bank officials said that the money that has been withdrawn from Sundar’s account has been withdrawn through a POS machine, whose transaction ID is 583070452 and 565237100. However, it is not known where this machine is being operated. The victim’s Aadhar card and their thumb prints have been used to withdraw money.

Cloning done from the papers deposited in the registry office!
The victim told that he had registered the land in the old office of the authority in Greater Noida about five months ago. In this process he had used his Aadhar card. Also, the thumb was put on the papers. Apart from this, he neither used Aadhar card nor put his thumb anywhere.

The victim suspects that his Aadhaar card was present in the documents he had submitted to the registry office. Along with this, he also put his thumb during the registry. In such a situation, the victim suspects that his papers have been stolen from the registry office, after which the crime has been carried out by making a clone of his thumb.

Wires can be attached to the Sub Registrar Office
Fraud cases through PoS are increasing continuously in NCR. Three days ago in Palwal, the police had busted such a gang, in which their thumb impressions were used by taking papers from the registry department. Some similar cases have also come up in Delhi and Ghaziabad. Last year, the cybercrime team of STF had also arrested an accused who used to do fraud through PoS.

During the interrogation of Palwal police, the accused had also confessed to taking the data by contacting the Sub Registrar Office of Gautam Budh Nagar. In such a situation, it is possible that the accused have also taken the data of the people of the district. Under this, the accused have made a dent in the account by making a clone of the thumb of the people through the POC machine.
