Beneficiaries can either obtain a hard copy from the vaccination centre, or download their QR-based certificate after the first dose and upon completion of both doses of the vaccine. However, till now there was no option to modify the certificate in case of an inadvertent error. The Co-Win platform is the backbone of the COVID-19 Vaccine Delivery Management System. For vaccination, beneficiaries get many facilities including booking an appointment on it. Currently the process is being controlled digitally, and each entry gets registered in the system.
This digital platform has been modified from time to time in the past to provide better facilities to the citizens who want to take shots. The option of self-registration was opened for the general population from March 1. It was modified to facilitate on-spot beneficiary registration in the digital platform. There are 5 modules in the digital platform. Administrative module, Registration module, Vaccination module, Benefit acceptance module and Report module.
