Baripada (Odisha) A BJP Yuva Morcha (BJYM) leader was lynched to death by miscreants in Mayurbhanj district of Odisha. A police officer said that three people have been arrested in this case.
BJYM district in-charge Ranjit Pradhan (35) was going to his in-laws’ house in Balasore. Then his car was stopped by four people riding a bike in Nuasahi of Katipada police station area of the district. Katipada police station in-charge officer Sanjay Pradhan said the saffron party leader allegedly had an argument with four people, following which he was beaten up
on the spot. The BJYM leader was taken to Udala sub-divisional hospital, where doctors declared him brought dead. Fourth accused absconding Three accused have been arrested after registering a case under various sections of the IPC. The fourth accused is absconding and police are on the lookout for him, the police official said. He said the body of the BJYM leader has been handed over to his family members after the postmortem and investigation is on in the matter.
