England pacer Ollie Robinson has taken a brief break from all forms of cricket after being suspended at international level. Robinson was suspended because of his old controversial tweets. He has now taken a break from cricket and will not be available for Sussex in the first two matches of the T20 Blast.
“After a difficult week, Robinson has decided to take a break so that he can spend some time with his family,” the club said in a statement. The health and mental health of the players are of paramount importance to the club. “Whenever Robinson wants to come back, we will welcome him to the club,” he said. We are in constant touch with Robinson.

The Sussexes said the county club would continue to support the fast bowler even after Robinson was suspended by the ECB as Robinson had learned from the matter. “Robinson has become a very different person since posting that tweet and he has learned a lot over the years,” the statement said.
