Oxygen Crisis in Noida: Oxygen ended in hospitals in Noida, discharges made to patients somewhere, admitted somewhere closed, see what are the circumstances

Highlights:

  • Lack of oxygen disturbs patients and timers all around
  • Oxygen shortage in many states and cities of the country
  • Discharged patients if backup of some components is saved in Noida hospitals

Noida
There is an outcry in the hospitals all over the country at this time. Noida’s condition is that there is no backup of oxygen in any hospital here for more than 4-5 hours. Due to lack of oxygen, many hospitals in the city raised their hands on Thursday. Somewhere screaming patients were sent home, then somewhere new serious patients were

refused to be admitted.

If non-covid patients had to cancel the much needed surgery, the patients had to shift to another hospital when oxygen was over. In such a situation, it became the life of all the patients. At the same time, the district administration says that there is a shortage of oxygen in all the hospitals, but we stand with the people and find a solution to this problem. Oxygen will not be allowed to end in any hospital. People of this city should trust this matter.

Oxygen left for a few hours …
There was an uproar in Noida and Prakash Hospital of Greater Noida on Wednesday afternoon due to lack of oxygen. At 12 noon, the situation was that in Noida Prakash Hospital, 55 patients were dependent on oxygen and there was only two and a half hours of oxygen left. At the same time, 85 patients were dependent on oxygen at the Prakash Hospital in Greater Noida and only three hours of oxygen was left there.

Asked to take patients to another hospital
In the afternoon, the situation became such that the families of patients admitted in Noida Prakash Hospital were asked to take their patients home and get them admitted to other hospitals. After this, there was a cry of family members outside the hospital. An 80-year-old elderly person was in a weeping state. He told that his daughter has been admitted here for many days, now where should she take her.

Patients evacuated from hospital, there was chaos
There was chaos at the hospital gate. Many patients were sent home, many of their families were forced to attack in other hospitals. After this, the hospital issued a statement saying that he has been suffering from oxygen crisis for the last several days. He is getting supplies from Faridabad, which has been stopped by the Haryana government.

Kailash closes new admissions

There was a shortage of oxygen in all the four hospitals in Noida-Greater Noida of Kailash Group on Wednesday. Hospital management said that they have stopped taking new admissions. In the afternoon, they had 2-3 hours of oxygen stock left. More than 400 patients are admitted on Oxigen. Although later the district administration made arrangements for oxygen in them, but new admissions are currently closed.

All surgery postponed in Fortins
At Fortis Hospital, there was only two and a half hours of oxygen backup at 11 am. This resulted in non-Kovid patients coming in for very serious surgeries without having to be sent home without an operation. On Friday also, patients who are going to have operations have been refused. All surgeries of non-Kovid patients have been postponed. At about one o’clock, some supplies of oxygen came to them, which led to the work.

There is currently a shortage of oxygen in all the hospitals in the city. Supply is also continuously coming in the district. Where there is a short time backup, the hospital is getting oxygen arranged first. In the next two-three days, work is going on in this deficiency, but in any hospital, we will not let patients die due to lack of oxygen. Our teams are engaged in managing Oxygen Backup.

Suhas LY, District Magistrate Gautam Budh Nagar

No hospital has more than 5 hours of backup
Please tell that at this time more than 3 thousand beds in 18 hospitals in the district are being treated for Kovid patients. Of these, about 40 percent of patients need oxygen. At the same time in non-covid hospitals, all patients are dependent on oxygen. According to experts, no hospital has more than 5 hours of oxygen backup. JP, SRS, Surya, Metro, Tripathi, JR Hospital, NIMS, Sharda etc. All hospitals are running on maximum 5 hours of oxygen backup. Where there is two to two and a half hours of oxygen left, there is a chanting.

This is how the district administration is managing
The district administration has completely taken control of the medical oxygen coming into the district at this time. The monitoring of district administration from where oxygen is coming is being given to hospitals. Where there are two-and-a-half-hour backups, arrangements are being made from a hospital with 5-hour backups. Supply is continuously coming in the district but auxinage is coming less than 50 percent of the time.
