The Ministry of Defense has decided to bring 23 Oxygen Generation Plant from Germany by air. Officials gave this information on Friday. These plants will come to India in the next one week. Right now the paperwork is going on for him. The ministry has taken this decision at a time when many states are facing acute shortage of medical oxygen amid rapidly increasing cases of corona virus infection.

The ministry’s decision came four days ago when Defense Minister Rajnath Singh announced emergency financial rights to the three services and other defense agencies for necessary procurement with the aim of improving the medical infrastructure in the wake of the epidemic.
Babu said, ’23 mobile oxygen generation plants will be airlifted from Germany. These will be set up in AFMC hospitals treating Kovid-19 patients. He said that the oxygen producing plant is expected to be airlifted within a week.

Another official said that on completion of the necessary paperwork, the Indian Air Force has been asked to keep the aircraft ready to bring the plant from Germany. He informed that more oxygen production plants can be procured from abroad.
The corona epidemic in India is getting increasingly serious and reports of shortages ranging from beds to oxygen have been reported in many states. There is also reports of lack of medical oxygen in many hospitals.
According to the data released on Friday, 3,32,730 new cases were reported in a single day in the country while 2,263 more people died and the number of deaths reached 1,86,920.
