Rashid Khan lbw to Chris Gayle for a fourth blow to Punjab. Gayle was dismissed for 15 runs off 17 balls. He hit 2 fours.
Mayank scored 22 runs, Puran could not even open the account
Punjab lost two wickets off two consecutive balls. On the final ball of the seventh over of the innings, Khalil Ahmed caught Mayank Agarwal at the hands of Rashid Khan. Mayank was dismissed for 22 runs off 25 balls. After this, Nicholas Pooran was runout for zero on the first ball of the eighth over. Puran was sent straight to the pavilion by David Warner.
Bhuvi brought initial success to Hyderabad, sent pavilion to KL Rahul
Pacer Bhuvneshwar Kumar caught KL Rahul at the hands of Kedar Jadhav and gave Hyderabad initial success. Rahul could withstand 6 balls. Punjab’s first wicket fell in the fourth over when there were just 15 runs on the board.
Punjab Kings team has strong batting but KL Rahul is once again on the target of critics regarding the strike rate. On the other hand, the Sunrisers Hyderabad team came close to winning all three matches, but its weakness of not increasing the run in the last over kept them from victory.
