Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) chief Mohan Bhagwat said many big things on Sunday. He said that there is no threat to Islam in India. Muslims should not live in any such fear. DNA of all Indians is. Development is not possible without unity. He also wrote poetry on the go.

Bhagwat had come to attend a program organized by Rashtriya Muslim Manch. During this a book titled ‘The Meetings of Minds: A Bridging Initiative’ was also released. Its author is Dr. Khwaja Iftikhar Ahmed.

The RSS chief said that people cannot be differentiated on the basis of their way of worship. He attacked the people involved in the incidents of lynching. Said, ‘They are against Hindutva.’ However, he said that some false cases of lynching have been registered against the people.

There is no threat to Islam in India
Bhagwat said, ‘Don’t get caught in this cycle of fear that Islam is in danger in India.’ He said that development is not possible without unity in the country. The RSS chief insisted that the basis of unity should be nationalism and pride of ancestors.

He said that the only solution to Hindu-Muslim conflict is ‘Samvad’ and not ‘Visamvad’. Bhagwat said, ‘The talk of Hindu-Muslim unity is misleading because they are not separate but one. The DNA of all Indians is the same, irrespective of religion.’

Sangh does not do politics
He said, ‘We are in a democracy. It cannot be dominated by Hindus or Muslims. Only Indians can dominate here. Bhagwat started his address by saying that he has neither joined the program to create any image nor for vote bank politics.

He said the Sangh is neither in politics nor does it care about maintaining any image. The RSS chief said, “It (Sangh) continues its work for empowering the nation and for the welfare of all people in the society.”
