This program is being done just after the expansion in the cabinet of PM Modi. Earlier in his address at the 66th convocation of IIT Kharagpur in February, the PM urged students to recognize their potential and move forward with confidence, following the mantras of self-confidence, self-awareness and selflessness.
He also called IITs an ‘indigenous institute of technology’ and said that engineers should have the ability to take things from ‘pattern’ to ‘patent’.
