PSL: Poor insult of former Pakistani captain Sarfaraz, prevented from boarding a flight

Karachi
Former captain Sarfraz Ahmed was among the 11 players and officials who were not cleared to take a commercial flight to Abu Dhabi on Sunday where the remaining matches of the Pakistan Super League (PSL) are scheduled to be held next month.

According to an ESPNcricinfo report, ’11 players and officials heading for PSL on Sunday were not allowed to board a business flight from Lahore and Karachi via Doha to Abu Dhabi, including Quetta Gladiators captain Sarfaraz Ahmed. Huh.’

The Pakistan Cricket Board is facing ‘logistical’ related issues ahead of the PSL being reinstated in

Abu Dhabi, including getting a visa. The PSL was postponed in early March after players and officials were found to be Corona positive and only 14 matches were played then.

According to the report, ‘Five persons were allowed to go from this PSL team while others had to return to their hotel where they have been in segregation since May 24. More than 25 players from both cities were to travel to the United Arab Emirates by chartered flight.
