As per the notice issued by the board, the Punjab Patwari examination to be held on 02 May 2021 has been postponed to fill 1152 vacant posts of Patwari, Jildar and Irrigation Booking Clerk. The new exam date will be notified soon. The notification link is given below.
Chief Minister Captain Amarinder Singh gave orders
Earlier, media reports were being said that Punjab Chief Minister Captain Amarinder Singh (CM Captain amarinder singh) Has ordered the postponement of the Patwari examination in a cabinet meeting. After this, the board has issued a notice on its official website, confirming this. However, this is not the first recruitment test which COVID-19 Has been postponed due to.

Patwari (Revenue) – 1090 posts
Irrigation Booking Clerk (Patwari) – 26 posts.
District Magistrate- 32 posts in Water Resources Department
District Magistrate – 04 posts in PWRDC
Total number of vacancies – 1152
The selection of qualified candidates will be done on the basis of written examination. The first screening will be the Written Test and the second Main Written Test. There will be negative marking. Each question carries 1 mark, for every wrong answer, 1/4 mark will be deducted. Question not scored will get no marks.
