Highlights:

  • Western Australia questions the credibility of India’s Corona test report
  • The state premier said- some investigations conducted in India are either flawed or not trustworthy
  • Premier questions the integrity of the system in India

Melbourne
A state in Australia has questioned the credibility of the report of India’s Kovid Test. It claims that passengers returning from India after a corona test are found positive in the test conducted in their state. Western Australia Premier Mark McGowan alleged on Tuesday that the Kovid-19 investigation conducted in India of returning passengers was either flawed or

not credible. He questioned the honesty of the system in India.

Passengers with negative certificates of India are getting positive
McGowan said that some of the problems were arising from India’s misreporting. The premier’s remarks came after officials in Western Australia said that four people who had been isolated in a hotel in Perth have been found infected with the corona virus after returning from India. Officials in Western Australia are concerned because most of the returning passengers are returning from India where a second wave of epidemic has caused a serious situation.

Questions raised on the honesty of the system
McGowan told a TV channel that we have a problem with travelers coming back from India. Some investigations conducted in India are either flawed or not convincing, and it is clear that this is causing some problem here. He said that the large number of people reaching Australia with virus infection shows that the system is failing.

Urged not to travel to India
McGowan said that the big question is whether the investigative reports shown by people before boarding the aircraft are completely correct. If the investigations are flawed or there is some fraud in them so that people can board flights, then it raises questions about the integrity of the system and why we have to suffer from these problems. McGowan also urged people not to travel to India.

Australia is considering sending help to India
Meanwhile, Australia’s Home Minister Karen Andrews said that the situation in India is very frightening where thousands of cases of infections are occurring daily and many people are dying. Is considering possible humanitarian aid.

Air India flight returned from Australia without passengers
Australian authorities prevented passengers from boarding the plane after a member of an Air India flight crew from Sydney was found to be corona infected, after which the flight arrived in Delhi with only luggage on Tuesday. He said that before conducting the flight between Delhi and Sydney, on Saturday, all the members of the aircraft crew in Delhi were RT-PCR checked and all the reports came back negative.

A member was found corona infected
On arriving in Sydney on Sunday morning, Australian authorities conducted an RT-PCR check of all crew members, the report of which came on Monday. It confirmed a member was infected, after which Australian authorities barred passengers from boarding the aircraft. Australia has halted the movement of all aircraft from India till 15 May in view of the increasing cases of Kovid-19 in India.
